alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5352092773999908386" border="0" />
Well, as my fav. time pass : watching movies. I came across this wonderful piece of work. I was never a big fan of Tom Hanks (please dont get angry on me). So, my friends requested that, I sit with him, and watch the movie. To my surprise I was soon so engrossed into the movie that I even forgot I had to go and meet some person, with whom I had a fixed a job appointment interview. So anyways, I called him after the movie and made some plausible excuse; for me not showing up for the interview.
I am not sure if he bought my story of flat tire, but still I was able to fix an appointment for the next day. Setting the alarm for 3 hours in advance, I was able to get to Interview on time. The usual thing went on, I gave in my resume , he asked my few (damn!) questions about my studies and how much time I was free in the evening and stuff. I wassn't sure if I would managed to secure a job placement. He wrote my information and said that he will call me if, I get selected for the job. He handed me a pen to fill up a form. I Took the form and started filling it.
Then his phone rang. He picked it up. "Come on man, Dont call me when I am at work!" He listned for few seconds and spoke again "Why do you bet on things you know you gonna loose, You know I am not a big movies fan. How am supposed to know What's the name of Jude law In Road to Perdition." I looked up to hear more of the conversation. Good Omen!
"No, man the internet server is down since last week" Some event as they occur make you realize the future events. And hearing the conversation I knew it was sign for me to do something different than others who have come for the same job interview. He was still on the phone fighting with the person on other side about 'not to play anymore bets'. By the time I had completed my form. "Harlen, I said to him."
And so it goes, I get the job call after few day! Some times life just amazes me, how one thing leads into another. If one is aware about what is happening. he can easily exploit it.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0257044/jass kulaarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04928602965206575132noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3184316977869408049.post-16788627389788817222009-06-20T15:58:00.000-07:002009-06-27T11:58:55.178-07:002010 Most Awaited Movies Hollywood
20. Black Hole

Plot: Teenagers who spread “the Bug,” a fictional, incurable STD that causes the sexually-active to develop horrific physical deformities, as well as those who didn’t catch it but reacted to the plague.
Director: David Fincher
Cast and Crew: None released
COED’s Take: A kind of safe-sex PSA wrapped in the body of a sci-fi thriller, “Black Hole” is based on a graphic novel by Charles Burns (not a remake of the 1979 film) about a sexually transmitted disease that’s rapidly spreading among teenagers. The story follows two such teens, Keith and Chris, as they get infected with the ‘the bug,’ which causes them and the story to devolve into a dreamy, hallucinogenic wasteland – a perfect fit for director David Fincher (Se7en, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button). Sounds pretty awesome – but not as awesome as Fincher’s other upcoming project, Heavy Metal. (Unfortunately, we have no idea when that one’s coming out.)

19. The A-Team

Plot Outline: A group of Iraq War veterans looks to clear their name with the U.S. military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime for which they were framed.

Director: Joe Carnahan

Cast and Crew: Bradley Cooper, Bruce Willis, Common, Woody Harrelson

COED’s Take: When we heard that they’re making a feature-length version of “The A-Team”, the first thing we thought of is, of course, Mr. T, badass (but cheesy) action and a sweet van. And we’re hoping they stick to that formula as closely as possible. Unfortunately, they’re already starting off with a deficit, as Mr. T will be replaced by someone not nearly as cool (Common? Seriously?). But with A-class actors, like Liam Neeson, Bruce Willis and Woody Harrelson all rumored to be on-board, that still leaves some room for hope. And if director Joe Carnahan can pull this one off, it will be a huge hit. Luckily, Fox picked it up and moved the release date from early summer back to Christmas. The twelve-year-olds inside of us loved the first two Narnia movies, and the gaping hole left by The Lord of the Rings is still almost too much for us to bear, so we’re looking forward to another big-budget epic fantasy fix.

16. The Three Stooges

Plot outline: A brand new come

y based on the original exploits of Larry, Curly, and Moe, the Columbia Pictures comedy team rom the 1930s and ’40s.

Director: Bobby and Peter Farrelly

Cast: Jim Carrey, Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro

COED’s take: Let’s get this straight: it’s not a biopic. It’s not a remake of any particular Three Stooges short. Instead, writer/directors the Farrelly brothers are basically making a new Three Stooges adventure — just with Jim Carrey, Sean Penn, and Benicio Del Toro stepping into the roles created by Larry Fine, Curly Howard, and Moe Howard, respectively. Will that work? Two reasons. One, because it’s literally highly anticipated: right now there are a couple million 14-year-old Twilight fanatics searching the Web for articles that mention it. And two, because the new director, David Slade, might actually bring a spark to this franchise. He did 2005’s Hard Candy — the most disturbing movie to feature a teenage girl cutting a grown man’s testicles off since, well, ever — and 2007’s 30 Days of Night. So, at least he knows his way around vampires.

14. Grown Ups
Plot outline: thirty years after their high school graduation, five friends reunite for a Fourth of July weekend.

Director: Dennis Dugan
Cast: Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Salma Hayek, Maya Rudolph, Maria Bello

COED’s Take: Which Adam Sandler are we getting here? The presence of Rob Schneider would seem to suggest the latter, but this one is an ensemble movie — a rarity for Sandler — and Schneider aside, it would be really hard for this good of an all-star cast to screw up. And if you ask us, it doesn’t need to be remade and certainly can’t be improved upon. That said, director Darren Aronofsky (The Wrestler, Requiem for a Dream) is signed on to the project – an odd union, but at least this “reimagining” is in the hands of someone with an actual imagination. But is he up for this kind of big-budget fantasy? Few people have heard of the source material, which means box office is pretty shaky unless the ad campaign wows a lot of people. Sounds like the most generic thing possible, right? Well, the script was good enough to attract director Kevin Smith — who has never, ever directed a movie he hasn’t written before. At one point, Crowe was even planning on playing both roles. Eventually, though, they decided to make a more straightforward version of the legend with a focus on historical accuracy, and Crowe settled on Robin. Denzel Washington usually does contemporary thrillers, so it’ll be cool to see him in a sci-fi flick, but who we’re really pumped about is Gary Oldman, in an over-the-top bad guy role that anyone who’s seen The Professional knows he’s ridiculously awesome at playing. He already played Thompson outright in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, which has become a cult classic; seeing what he does in another Thompson role is already making us salivate (as is his co-star Amber Heard).

2. Inception

Plot outline: we got nothing.

Director: Christopher Nolan

Cast: Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Michael Caine, Cillian Murphy, Ken Watanabe

COED’s Take: This movie could very well be terrible. All anyone knows about the plot is what director Christopher Nolan has chosen to reveal: that it’s “a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind.” If you can figure out what that means, let us know. But since this is Nolan’s follow-up project to The Dark Knight, the second-highest grossing movie in the U.S. ever, and since Nolan has also directed Batman Begins, Memento, and The Prestige, and since he’s assembled a terrific cast, we’re willing to follow him anywhere — especially the realm of the unknown.

1. Arrested Development

Plot: No plot released

Director: Mitchell Hurwitz

Cast and Crew: Michael Cera, Jason Bateman, David Cross, Portia de Rossi, Jeffrey Tambor, Will Arnett

COED’s Take: Hands-down the most anticipated movie of 2010, Arrested Development fans have been pining for a big-screen adaptation ever since this ingenious show was kicked off the air (yes, by someone retarded). And after tamping down a slew of rumors about its future, the producers have made it over some hurdles necessary for moving forward, like signing Michael Cera on to the production. But until we start seeing official trailers, we’re just going to assume this one isn’t even coming out, just to stave off the disappointment.

jass kulaarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04928602965206575132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3184316977869408049.post-31117465297478015312008-11-16T00:35:00.002-08:002009-06-27T12:08:07.026-07:002009 Hollywood - Most Awaited Movies
25) Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian | IMDB | Wikipedia
24) Hellraiser | IMDB | Wikipedia
23) Monsters vs. Aliens | IMDB | Wikipedia
22) Land of the Lost | IMDB | Wikipedia
21) The Proposal | IMDB | Wikipedia
20) Public Enemies | IMDB | Wikipedia
19) The Informant | IMDB | Wikipedia
18) G-Force | IMDB | Wikipedia
17) G.I. His only real competition is the memory of the brother he idolized—the legendary Rex Racer, whose death in a race has left behind a legacy that Speed is driven to fulfill. Speed is loyal to the family racing business, led by his father, Pops Racer (John Goodman), the designer of Speed’s thundering Mach 5. When Speed turns down a lucrative and tempting offer from Royalton Industries, he not only infuriates the company’s maniacal owner (Roger Allam) but uncovers a terrible secret—some of the biggest races are being fixed by a handful of ruthless moguls who manipulate the top drivers to boost profits. If Speed won’t drive for Royalton, Royalton will see to it that the Mach 5 never crosses another finish line. The only way for Speed to save his family’s business and the sport he loves is to beat Royalton at his own game. With the support of his family and his loyal girlfriend, Trixie (Christina Ricci), Speed teams with his one-time rival—the mysterious Racer X (Matthew Fox)—to win the race that had taken his brother’s life: the death-defying, cross-country rally known as The Crucible.
The Buzz: Sure the first trailer looked a little over-the-top, but this is The Wachowskis that we are talking about — they gave us The Matrix. Probably I had lost my way. But first of all I wasnt even sure where I was or how reached there. Over the dim light, from an unknown source I could make out that the walls had paintings on them.On closer look at one of the paintings I found it was MONA LISA, the famous painting by Leonardo Da Vinci.I would Have never known that if i had not read 'the da Vinci code'. Was I in Paris. 6404 km away from my house in Chandigarh. No Way, I Thought. But then, who could bring Mona Lisa to India?

As I was wondering, I heard police sirens out side the unknown building. I tried, but couldn't guess,as to which country the police belonged . Not my fault! All the sirens, whether American, French , or Indian . They sound the same to me. Then from the other end I saw a girl, 19 yrs of age(thats a wild guess on my part) came running towards me. She was holding a gun in one hand , black air bag in another and another bag(looked like a hiking bag) hung around her shoulders.''We both(together) can't get out, and you know I have dreams, honey!.... '' she said, and before i could catch its similarity with GTA 3,I was down on the ground. The damn girl had hit me on the head with pistol..

I didn't know for how much time I had been out, but when I gained consciousness, I found I was being tendered by a women,Nurse I thought.One of prettiest faces I have ever seen. She was speeking, I don't know which language, but on careful listening I found 2 English words, plane.. crash...A second look at the place, and I was sure what the place was, a whorehouse!This is kind of similar to Flyboys .Oh god, my parents would kill me if they found about this! I gathered all my strength and ran towards the door.

As soon as I opened the door, and took my first step, I realized ,there was no ground.I was falling down. I am not sure that phrase 'falling down' is appropriate or not, because I was already on ground. where will I fall, I had no idea! There I was falling down from ground, accelerating at 9m/s per sec. The air rushing past me with such high speed that I couldn't even breath. The blankness again surrounding me. How many times more will I be unconscious ,I thought.I'll fight . With my arms searching the darkness , I tried to find something, onto which I could hold on and save the fall.
To my surprise, I found something, smooth and soft. I put my hand around it. the falling stopped!The breathing started again, What can I say, I could even feel and hear my heart thumping in my chest,my forehead wet with perspiration! My vision returned. I was holding on to my pillow in my cozy little bedroom...
I was home...
dreamz r just like that...

Dreams pass into the reality of action. From the actions stems the dream again; and this interdependence produces the highest form of living.jass kulaarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04928602965206575132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3184316977869408049.post-9204547393851739182007-12-05T22:29:00.001-08:002007-12-05T22:29:42.038-08:00mIsTaKeN mAtHs

Theorem: 3=4
Proof:

Suppose:
a + b = c

This can also be written as:
4a - 3a + 4b - 3b = 4c - 3c

After reorganizing:
4a + 4b - 4c = 3a + 3b - 3c

Take the constants out of the brackets:
4 * (a+b-c) = 3 * (a+b-c)

Remove the same term left and right:
4 = 3

Theorem: 2 + 2 = 2
Proof:
n(2n - 2) = n(2n - 2)
n(2n - 2) - n(2n - 2) = 0
(n - n)(2n - 2) = 0
2n - 2 = 0 OR n - n = 0

2n = 2
n + n = 2
or setting n = 2

2+ 2 = 2

Dollars equal ten cents

Theorem: 1$ = 10 cent
Proof:
We know that $1 = 100 cents
Divide both sides by 100
$ 1/100 = 100/100 cents
=> $ 1/100 = 1 cent
Take square root both side
=> squr($1/100) = squr (1 cent)
=> $ 1/10 = 1 cent
Multiply both side by 10
=> $1 = 10 cent

### all are just simple mistakes , and the working is not quite right###

jass kulaarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04928602965206575132noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3184316977869408049.post-79331338963274885322007-12-05T22:28:00.001-08:002007-12-05T22:28:44.088-08:00FaShIoN mIsTaKeS

Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.”
mEn n WoMeNz COmMon MiStAKeS:

1. Your clothes don't fit correctly:Wearing baggy clothes will add weight to anyone. Clothes that are too small accentuate bulges and can make you look ridiculous.Don't buy anything thinking that it will be "just right" if you lose weight. Buy for the present and in relation to your clothes size now.

2. Wearing wrinkled clothes:A great suit or dress won't do you any favors unless it's wrinkle-free. Avoid this fashion mistake and buy clothes that are easy to care for and don't wrinkle easily.

3. Fashion trends that don’t suit you:Don't try to follow trends that don’t suit you. Keep in mind your figure and age and only wear what looks good on you.There is nothing worse than seeing someone follow fashion for the sake of it.

4. Wearing too many Colors:A common fashion mistake is using to many colors. As a general rule wear up to three colors only, for a easy on the eye coordinated look.

5. Wearing too many prints:Don't try to mix and match prints or you'll create a look that’s far too busy. Patterns don't look good on everyone. If you're one of those people that look good in just about anything, choose a pattern on the top or bottom, but not both.

6. Using the wrong accessories:Finish off with accessories that match your style and don’t over do it.

MeN aT wOrK:

1. Backpacks. OK, maybe this is just a misdemeanor, but you're trying to climb the corporate ladder, not hike up a mountain.Carry a briefcase or messenger bag -- and if you need something for your gym clothes -- invest in a nice-looking gym bag.

2. Stained clothes. Don't be that guy who's unwittingly walking around with red sauce on his shirt.Make it part of your daily routine to inspect your clothes when you take them off and when they come out of the wash to make sure you don't miss a spot. Watch for yellow circles under the armpits, soiled collars or cuffs.

3. Ponytails. You're neither a wizard nor a rock star. And even if you were, If you must keep your hair long, make sure it's neat and clean and doesn't fall past the base of your neck.

4. Novelty ties. It's okay to express your individuality through color or pattern. But stick with the classic width of about three-and-one-quarter inches and make sure the colors and patterns complement the shirt you are wearing. Not make people scratch their heads and say, huh?And one more thing: When it comes to how a tie hangs, it should reach the top of your belt buckle and have a dimple in the center of the knot.

5. Too much cologne. If you must wear cologne, get a quality brand. And since the same cologne smells different on each person, make sure to test it out and get some opinions.Beware of mixing too many smells at once. Remember, if you wear an anti-perspirant or aftershave, the scents can mingle for an unpleasant effect. And don't be too liberal in your application. The safest bet is to avoid wearing cologne all together and let the clean smell of soap do the talking

wOmEn AnYwHeRe:

1. Too much makeup.

Too much makeup creates a harsh look and makes lines appear deeper. Keep your daytime makeup light and evening makeup a little darker. If you are unsure of makeup application techniques, see a professional. Many popular cosmetic counters at your local department store will provide a free makeup session.

2. Chipped nail polish

The idea of nail polish is to make your nails appear nicer. Chipped polish just brings attention to poor grooming.

3. Roots that show

If you color your hair, make sure you keep it maintained regularly. There's nothing more distracting than roots that are a different color than the rest of your hair.

4. Bras and bra straps that show:

When wearing sleeveless tops, ensure you wear a racer back bra. Don't wear bras that fit too tightly or don't provide good support.

ImPoRtAnT NoTeZ:

Relying too heavily on the fashion media.

You buy all the fashion magazines religiously, watch awards shows, read the paper and keep up with all the online sources. How could that be a mistake?By relying too heavily on the media to rule your wardrobe, you run the risk of being a fashion victim.Remember: most magazines and TV programs about fashion produce an "aspirational" effect. They present you with fabulous clothes you'll want to buy on fabulous models you'll want to look like.The problem is that a) you probably can't afford any of the clothes they show and b) you're never going to look like a supermodel or a celebrity.

Getting stuck in a style rut.

Sticking with classics has been conventional style wisdom for ages, and for women with full lives and limited resources this is still a sure way to investment dressing.The problem is that as we grow older, we sometimes become a little too comfortable wearing our old standbys (or just doing "replenishment" shopping each season).Sometimes all it takes is tweaking the basics that you already own to look fabulous..

###For any kind of enquiry u can write to me..
